Edumed Core Values:
Compassion
Dignity and respect for human life

We believe that:
It is more blessed to give than to receive
Knowledge is a treasure
- We are our brother’s keeper
- Practical worship of God is demonstrated through service to others
- God has blessed every nation with adequate resources to meet the needs of its people
Strategic Approach
Edumed’s strategic approach is one that aims to address secondary school education needs by being the trusted organisation for channelling funds to students through observing the highest standards of integrity and accountability in:
- the selection of students that merit assistance and,
- the prudent use of funds entrusted to it by its partners.
A high percentage of funds goes into paying student school fees due to very low overheads. Edumed has put in place required structures and will continue to improve on them to ensure that issues of accountability do not impede those willing to partner with it in supporting needy students access quality secondary school education.
Edumed believes that the most sustainable way of fundraising is mobilising and educating Kenyans to be responsive to the plight of the needy amongst them, and in so doing, help our country in reducing poverty and crime which is more rampant amongst the poor.
Edumed's appeal to individuals is to make a continued commitment to support Edumed by a minimum of Ksh 500/- every month. In so doing faithfully every month, twenty such supporters are able to educate 1 student annually. The challenge then becomes one of mobilising as many supporters as possible to meet Edumed beneficiaries' needs.
Edumed strategy for growth is one whereby, every supporter is encouraged to recruit at least two new ones every year. This formula enables an ever-growing organization.
