Elijah Muli - Kasarani Boys (excerpts from his testimony during Edumed Golf tournament)

"....After I sat for the Kenya Certificate of Primary Education, I was hopeful to join High School. My mother (father died while I was young) tried many things to raise my school fees but it was not possible. I completely lacked School fees to join Secondary School, after some time I decided to look for a job and assist my mother as I have other siblings. I moved to Nairobi and got a job as house help in Buruburu, I worked diligently but my heart still yearned for education.

On Sunday, I would go to church at NPC Buruburu and pray to God. I met Pastor Bosco, the youth pastor and he became my mentor. I shared with him my desire to go back to School and to my surprise; he started the process of getting me a school. I landed at Kasarani Boys; again the school fees issue resurfaced. Pastor Bosco would not manage to meet all my needs, that is when he applied for sponsorship from Edumed Trust. I qualified and do not have to worry about school fees any more. I'm now in Form two and have decided that studies will always take first priority in my life. I will work hard and ensure that all those who support Edumed will be glad with my results."
